The inspiration behind starting With The World
CEO Igarashi was inspired to start his own business by his experiences in Southeast Asia during his student days. While visiting slums in the Philippines and Cambodia and working as a tennis coach with children, he witnessed the harsh reality that children full of enthusiasm for learning were "unable to learn even though they wanted to." Also, when he visited an orphanage in Thailand, the children told him as he parted ways, "I hope your dreams come true," which became the origin of With The World, a company that delivers education that impacts children's futures. Inspired by these experiences, With The World Co., Ltd. was founded in 2018 with the goal of creating a society where everyone can learn, regardless of their background.
To continually deliver education to all corners of the globe
Since its founding, With The World has launched an educational service that connects schools in Japan and overseas using online platforms. It provides opportunities for students of the same generation from different cultures and with different values to discuss social issues.
Our program aims to help more children develop the ability to respect differences and create a peaceful world by fostering friendships and shared learning opportunities among peers around the world. Beyond international exchange, we also strive to create opportunities for children to consider global social issues as their own.
We aim to continue delivering education to even more communities and educational institutions, fostering in children the ability to confront social issues and take action themselves, ultimately leading to the development of leaders who will take on the responsibility of solving problems in various countries and regions in the future. With the goal of "continuing to deliver education to the ends of the earth," all of us at our company will continue to strive forward.
