AM: Build the whole schedule based on the targets
PM: Fieldwork (Interview with local people and NGOs/ research activity), activity report and feedback, prepare education program for kindergarten in immigrant town. Stay with host family

■ Gain small successes and failures by putting the plan into action

AM: Carry out the education program at kindergarten in immigrant town and interview orphanage and the principal of the kindergarten

Iloilo, Philippines is one of the safest academic cities in Southeast Asia and the academic level is really high.
Students will stay at a dorm in the language school, which provides meals, facility cleaning, and laundry.
Students will study English in person in the morning and attend a study tour of NGO LOOB, which has accepted over 2,000 people for 19 years. Through this study tour, students will study different kinds of topics, like education, gender, environment, and family.

AM: After meeting the local sisters and brothers for the first time and introducing themselves to each other, we held an orientation session on SDGs.
PM: Visit to the city with local sisters and brothers

■ Conduct team building with Filipino members

■ Participants will be explained the social issues facing the Philippines and the mission, and will share what they hope to gain from the training and set goals.

AM SDGs workshop: input knowledge about the Philippine education situation and prepare for the afternoon school visit
PM visits Philippine schools to introduce Japanese culture and hold games and workshops

AM SDGs workshop: input knowledge about poverty and happiness and learn how to create community maps
PM Field activities include experiencing life in a community, cooking at home and making maps.

■ Conduct interviews with low-income people living in the area surrounding the waste disposal site. Teams discuss their findings and create a map of what an ideal community would be like, and share that information.

You will stay in Heiho which is nearby the famous Inle Lake. You will also visit Taunggyi that is the 4th largest city in Myanmar and known as a summer resort. The hotel you will stay in during the tour is often used by local travel companies.
Through this unique study tour, you will learn about “the importance to survive,” “the power of supporting each other,” and “social issues next to daily life.” You will visit a monastery where around XNUMX orphans and children study and a village of XNUMX people on a mountain.
