With The World Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Kobe City; President and CEO: Shunta Igarashi; hereinafter referred to as "With The World") has been awarded the contract to conduct a workshop for solving international environmental issues in fiscal year 8, sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment. In this workshop, students from Japan and overseas will determine missions related to environmental problems and SDGs based on local issues shared by practitioners and experts involved in RCE activities in each region. Following this, they will conduct company interviews with the aim of collaborating to solve these issues. The final presentation will be held in person, and the culmination of this project will be seen by many people.

The Regional Centre of Expertise on ESD (RCE) is a community-based network for promoting Education for Sustainable Development. Rather than being run by a single institution, it involves diverse local organizations such as educational and research institutions, local governments, NPOs/NGOs, private companies, and social education facilities, all participating in equal partnerships. The opportunity to collaborate with such experts is one of the attractions of this workshop.

With The World https://withtheworld.co/

"With the World" aims to contribute to providing a sustainable educational environment around the world by creating an educational environment where children all over the world can have international exchanges, regardless of economic disparities or diverse backgrounds.

We offer services that aim to help people make friends around the world, connect with each other, and cooperate, ranging from "online international exchange" utilizing the ICT environment established by the GIGA School Initiative promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, to "overseas educational travel" that goes beyond mere sightseeing. Our services are widely used by local governments nationwide, as well as elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, universities, and companies.

In a post-event survey, over 90% of participants responded that they "would like to visit the people they interacted with," creating a new model for international education and CSR.
