Recruitment period: April 2021 (Friday) to June 4 (Sunday), 23 <6 days>
Target amount: 150 million yen

■Background of the launch of the project: I want to connect people who want to interact with local people who need support
With The World Co., Ltd. connects Japanese schools and schools around the world online, and provides online international exchange classes where students from all over the world can have cultural exchanges with students of the same generation and deepen discussions on social issues. .So far, we have provided online exchange opportunities for children in more than 50 countries. There were many children in families who had lost their children.
Until now, NGOs and NPOs have been responsible for many of the activities to reach out to those in need. However, in the midst of the various restrictions of the corona crisis, there is a tendency for support to be stagnant because activities cannot be carried out as desired, and there is a tendency for donations that are used to fund activities to decrease significantly, and some organizations are forced to refrain from or scale back their activities. There is a current situation that there are not many.
Also, it is not only overseas people who are affected by the corona disaster. Many people must be disappointed that their overseas study and training programs have been canceled, and that they have lost contact with the rest of the world.
Against this background, people who want to have international exchanges even if they can't go abroad, and want to provide sufficient support to people in difficult situations, and people who need support overseas. We planned an online study tour that connects active NGOs and NPOs.
This project does not end with monetary support such as donations. By interacting in real time with the local people who supported us on the study tour, we were able to create a one-sided understanding of the two sides: the "supporting side" and the "supported side." We aim to create opportunities for the people we meet to learn from each other and grow, rather than simply providing support.

・
An organization that provides school support for poor children in Iloilo City, the Philippines, regional contributions by young people, and sustainable community support. In addition, we conduct international work camps and volunteer activities more than 10 times a year, and actively work on educational support and fair trade promotion. NGO LOOB's activities are based on the motto of "learning and growing together with local people, not one-sided support".In Iloilo City, the problem of children working in unsanitary environments on garbage mountains is becoming a serious problem.
・Zambia <Cornerstone Of Hope>
At orphanages established in Cambodia and Zambia, we accept orphans, protect them, raise them, and support street children. The main target of support is street children, who are the poorest children in society, and while emphasizing the prevention of street children, the importance of food assistance and education is preached.
An orphanage in Zambia will participate in this study tour.In Zambia, the economic situation is currently deteriorating, and the number of children who cannot go to school and receive education is increasing.Through the support of this study tour, we plan to provide education and food assistance to children.
